Bronze dagger detailed

The Bronze dagger is the weakest dagger and the weakest Melee weapon in RuneScape (besides fun weapons).

Its stats are similar to a dark dagger, except the bronze dagger's bonuses are 1 less in stab and slash. The bronze dagger has a +3 strength bonus, compared to the dark dagger's non-existent strength bonus, making the dark dagger one of the weakest daggers in the game. This weapon is infamous for being one of the weakest weapons in RuneScape that were intended for use as weapons. Even Vannaka when he was in Tutorial Island calls it a butter knife.

Players are able to make a bronze dagger using the Smithing skill at level 1. This requires one bronze bar and a hammer and yields 12.5 Smithing experience. Members can also poison this weapon with weapon poison, giving them an advantage in combat. This is not often done, however, as it is generally considered a waste of weapon poison, since iron daggers have better bonuses but require the same Attack level.

Players can purchase this dagger from the Varrock Swordshop or can obtain it from a respawn in the Crafting tutor's room in Lumbridge Castle. Like all daggers other than the dragon dagger, this item is rarely used. You can obtain a bronze dagger for free at the Lumbridge general store.

Trivia

• Despite being the weakest of all normal metal daggers, it costs more than the iron and steel daggers, both of which have higher stats. This is possibly due to their comical usage as mentioned above.
