A Bovistrangler staff can only be found in Daemonheim and has no requirements to wield. At complexity level 3+ and level 58 Fletching, the staff can be made by using a knife on Bovistrangler branches, giving 81xp.
As a staff made of Tier 6 wood it can be imbued on a runecrafting altar to become any magical staff up to the Empowered water staff (60 Runecrafting).
