Black spiky vambraces are black dragonhide vambraces with kebbit claws attached, giving the standard vambrace stat boost with an additional +2 Strength bonus and granting 6 Crafting experience. The Strength bonus is useless if a player is Ranging, because the strength bonus does not apply. It is useful, however, if the player wishes to melee an enemy while gaining the useful Magic defence bonuses of the black vambraces. They may be useful when meleeing monsters that use Magical melee, such as Bloodvelds and Banshees.
Kebbit claws can be gained using the Hunter skill, from the Grand Exchange for about 60 coins, or from trading another player. It could be an extremely slow but semi-profitable method of training crafting.
