This Abyssal whip is an Abyssal whip with green link segments. Players can get the whip painted by spending Honour Points from the Barbarian Assault activity.

To get green abyssal link paint, a player must have a whip in his or her inventory and 50 Honour Points in either attacker, defender, collector, or healer. Once the green coloured whip is selected, the segments of the player's whip will turn green. Once painted, the whip becomes untradeable and unlendable. Painting a whip will not modify any of its stats.

To remove the whip's paint and make it tradeable again, a cleaning cloth may be used on the painted whip. Cleaning cloths may be made by using Karamja rum on a piece of silk or by buying a cleaning cloth from the Grand Exchange. They may also be bought from Tamayu in Tai Bwo Wannai village after the Tai Bwo Wannai Trio quest.

After an update on 29 March 2010, colouring the whip no longer requires 50 Honour Points each time. Once a colour is bought, it may be used as many times as desired on a whip or Dark bow.
