A Cleaning cloth is made by using Karamja rum on a piece of silk. This is used to wipe the poison off a weapon. After around 1,000 uses, the cloth can no longer be used, although this is hardly a problem as most players would only use this item a few times at most. This item can also be bought with 60 coins from Tamayu in the village of Tai Bwo Wannai, located south of Brimhaven, deep in the jungle of Karamja, once you have finished the Tai Bwo Wannai Trio quest. It can also be a drop from Tribesmen. It also can wipe the colour off an Abyssal whip or Dark Bow if one has used the colouring feature in Barbarian Assault. At its peak it was worth 260 coins due to the update that came out allowing players to colour their whips and dark bows. A fast way to make them is to buy regular silk and bank it. Withdraw it using the bank in the Tzhaar caves. Then, exit through the volcano in karamja, buy the rum (due east of the volcano, next to the karamja general store), and make the cleaning cloths. Re-enter the volcano, and bank the cleaning cloths, withdraw 27 more silk, and repeat the process.

- The examine info for this item used to read "A piece of silk which can be used to remove poison." This was later changed to avoid confusion, as many players thought that the cleaning cloth could be used to remove poison during combat.
