The Basic decorative helm is a helmet that can be bought as a reward from Lanthus for 4 Castle wars tickets and requires a defence level of 5 to wear. Its stats are equal to the Steel helm, but lighter by 0.8 kg.
This piece of the basic decorative armour set is not required to obtain the bonus the set gives within Castle Wars, as helms may not be worn inside of Castle Wars. This used to be the Red decorative helmet before the May 27 Castle Wars update.
The basic decorative helm, platebody and shield can be mounted for display in the skill hall of a player-owned house.
