A Katagon longsword is an item released with the Dungeoneering update. This is a tier 8 longsword in the Dungeoneering skill and requires an attack level of at least 70 to wield. It can be smithed within Daemonheim needing a level of 74 Smithing and 2 Katagon bars, giving 150 experience.
It is quite a bit stronger than the dragon longsword. Its strength bonus is 4 lower than a chaotic rapier and is slightly slower.
