The Gorgonite warhammer is a Tier 9 warhammer found in Daemonheim, which is used in the Dungeoneering skill. The gorgonite warhammer can only be wielded by members who have a minimum Attack level of 80. Players can obtain the gorgonite warhammer with a Smithing level of 83 using 2 Gorgonite bars, yielding 167 smithing experience.
Compared to the difference in the low tiers, there is a large jump in strength bonus between a katagon warhammer and this weapon. The strength bonus of a gorgonite warhammer is only beaten by a Statius's warhammer by 2, and it hits faster. Its crush bonus surpasses the Barrelchest anchor by 15.
