The katagon warhammer is found and was released with the Dungeoneering skill. It is members only and slightly better than an argonite warhammer and not quite as good as a gorgonite warhammer.
It can be made at level 73 Smithing, using 2 katagon bars and giving 149 experience. It can be wielded at level 70 Attack.
Compared to the difference in the low tiers, there is a large jump in strength bonus between an argonite warhammer and this weapon. The strength bonus of a katagon warhammer is only beaten by a barrelchest anchor by 4, and it hits faster. Its crush bonus surpasses the anchor by 4.
