Odd crunchies are discontinued item formerly made using the cooking skill. If players made an error while attempting to prepare any crunchy dish as part of gnome cooking, odd crunchies would be created. As part of an overhaul of gnome cooking, Jagex removed the ability to make errors while preparing food, resulting in the item's deletion.
Like other crunchies, these could be eaten, albeit with different and more minor side effects; however, they were generally considered undesirable because of their minimal effects, and the fact that Aluft Gianne Sr would not buy them.
