Toolbox is a quest item for the quest Hunt for Red Raktuber. It contains all the tools required to disable the submarine.
However, depending on the storyline, it may be confiscated during the interrogation with Captain Marlin. As replacements for the tools, a player has to use replacement items such as swordfish, electric eel, shark tooth, crab claw, and seaweed, which may be found by searching the hat rack in the brig.
