Beacons are items in which Azzanadra has stored the power of Zaros. During Ritual of the Mahjarrat, Azzanadra instructs the player to place four beacons in a tree in each cardinal direction at the ritual site. Doing so will enable Azzanadra to enhance Zaros' power in an attempt to strike down Lucien.
After the quest, the beacons can be removed from the trees; however, they serve no further purpose.
