A Spade head is one of two items that a spade might randomly become whilst using it (the other being a spade handle).
Players will keep the handle in their inventory, and will find the head strewn somewhere in the immediate vicinity. The only use for a spade head is to combine it with the spade handle to form a complete spade again.
Presumably this behaviour is designed to tackle macros, but macros usually do not automate Farming anyway. Players do not need to worry too much about this, as they can buy a spade at a general store for 1 coin.
