Seers are the original settlers of Seers' Village northeast of Ardougne. Seers have the ability to see the future and are heavily involved in the Elemental Workshop quests and play a role in other quests such as Scorpion Catcher.
To start the Seers' Village Tasks, talk to any Seer in the village and to claim the Seers' headband 1, talk to any Seer like before.
On the 23 January 2010, players all over RuneScape were lifted up by the Strange power. Afterwards, when players talked to Seers, the Seers would say; "Uh, what was that dark force? I've never sensed anything like it..."
This was later revealed to come from Daemonheim, as a teaser for the Dungeoneering skill.
