The Seer's headband 1 is a reward from the easy Seers' Village Tasks. Once you complete the tasks you can get the headband by speaking to any Seer in Seers' Village.

Note: Players CANNOT destroy the headband if players are in an area that requires a light source and it is the only light source you have in your inventory. Attempting to do so yields the message: Destroying the headband would leave you without a light source.

Effects

Active only when worn:

• Use as a dim light source without needing a tinderbox (can also be in the inventory.)
• Get 2 logs from normal trees anywhere in Gielinor.

Active at all times:

• Ask Geoffrey at the flax field in Seer's village for 30 noted flax daily.
• Put a max of 140 coal in coal trucks west of Seers' Village.

Trivia

• If the ability that allows a player to get 2 logs from a regular tree is combined with the Evil Tree reward ability, it is possible to get over 10 regular logs all from the same tree.
• When the Seers' Village Tasks were first released, all 3 headbands looked the same as the Seer's headband 1. This was updated after about 2 weeks.
• A glitch occurred in 2010 where the Seer's headband 1 was obtainable by players who had not done the Easy Seers' Village Tasks. The players could not claim any rewards from it, other than having an equippable light source, however.
• There is currently a glitch where, regardless of the level of Seer's headband you possess, the player is unable to fill a coal truck past 120 coal. The examine text of the truck states "This could take a little more coal" (and the truck appears to have more room in it) as intended, yet upon attempting to add more coal, the chatbox will read "The coal truck is full."

A graphical glitch can appear when wearing the Seer's headband 2, where your neck will stretch back and forth, moving somewhat similar to a pigeon.
