Jungle spiders are monsters that can be found in Karamja and the archipelago east of Yanille. It is invisible on the minimap so it can be a threat to low level players who don't notice it. Jungle Spiders appear in the Tai Bwo Wannai Cleanup minigame and in the Jade vine maze. Level 44 jungle spiders are found near the Fairy ring south of Musa Point (across the water), and near Brimhaven south of the farming patch.
The Level 44 jungle spiders are good monsters to train on if you are level 50+. Like most spiders, they are primarily weak against crushing attacks, although slash-based weapons such as scimitars or the abyssal whip work fine too.
Despite their appearance and their description in the knowledge base, not all Jungle spiders are poisonous.
A level 52 poisonous variation of these is found on Ape Atoll and Crash Island and is aggressive to anyone, unless they transform into a monkey. In a similar manner to Cave slimes, the level 52 jungle spider doesn't need to inflict damage to cause poison.
A level 40 version is found in the Jade vine maze east of Shilo Village and is also poisonous and aggressive to players of all levels. Unlike its level 52 Ape Atoll cousin, however, it only poisons if it causes damage (or if the damage is absorbed by Protect from Melee).

Trivia
- There is currently a glitch where a spider's carcass can end up lying on top of a tree or stone instead of on the ground, depending on where the spider is standing when it dies.
- The jungle spiders on Ape Atoll used to be level 37 before an update in February 2012 increased their combat level to 52.
