Young grotworms are creatures found in the top level of the Grotworm Lair near Rimmington. They are the only monsters that drop coral bolts.

Despite their low combat level, young grotworms are aggressive to all players, similar to monsters in the Wilderness. However, they have a very small aggressiveness range. They only attack players if they come right next to them, similar to living rock creatures. Although they attack with magic and melee, they only use magic when the player is out of melee range, and only melee when the player is next to them.
