Wizard equipment

Wizard robes used to be the only set of magic armour available to non-members before Fist of Guthix was released. Magic robes have no requirements to wear, and they come in blue, black, trimmed, and gold trimmed. Monk robes are also commonly worn for the high prayer bonus.

Note that after the 9 April 2008 update introducing the Fist of Guthix activity, the Druidic mage robes and the Combat robes are available to non-members and the tradeable, uncharged versions of these robes offer the same bonuses as Wizard robes. However, the charged forms offer a much higher magic attack bonus and the combat robes even offer slight defence bonuses.
