A Fractite longsword is an item released with the Dungeoneering update. It can be obtained by either smithing it with 2 fractite bars and level 44 smithing or getting it from a drop by Blink. It requires 40 Attack to wield. Although having the same strength as a rune longsword, it has significantly superior stab and slash bonuses; however, it is still weaker than a dragon longsword. It can be commonly found on the tables at the start of the dungeon. When smithing it is more efficient for high level players to make a Fractite rapier instead, as it will dispose of weak enemies quickly and can still hit 200+ with ease. The Fractite longsword is still a better choice for players with lower attack levels. The Fractite longsword is the best longsword available to Free players.

Special Attack
Normally, a Fractite Longsword does not posses a special attack, however the one belonging to The Forgotten Warrior during the Vengeance! saga possesses three. While the vengeance remains neutral the attack's animation mimics the dragon longsword's, taking 25% of your special attack energy. The ruthless vengeance special attacks twice, taking 25% energy, with increased power for the extra hit the more ruthlessly you have acted. Finally the noble vengeance special attack hits the opponent and heals the user in exchange for 25% of the energy. The healing power increases as you enact more noble vengeance events and maxes out at 250 life points.
Trivia
- The sword looks very similar to a Gravite longsword.
- When bound the idle animation is different from the unbinded form.
