The Taverley Massacre is an event in the first RuneScape novel, Betrayal at Falador. The battle was fought between the druids and residents of Taverley and the tribal goblins of northern Asgarnia (with the exception of the Garagorshuun and Thorobshuun).

The druids, warned of the impending invasion by the falcon of the druid Kaqemeex, mostly fled to the hills and woodlands north of Taverley. Several hundred remained behind solely to sate the bloodthirst of the goblins; all died in the process. The goblins then burned a large amount of Taverley to the ground before fleeing south-east, where they united with the forces of the Kinshra Lord Sulla to engage in the Siege of Falador.
