Tatty kyatt fur is often obtained by pit trapping a Sabre-toothed kyatt in the polar hunting region, which is north of Keldagrim. Level 55 Hunter is required. The fur can be taken to the Fancy Dress Shop owner in Varrock to be turned into a top or legs for some coins. It cannot be used to make the hat, which requires good Kyatt fur, which is sometimes obtained instead of tatty kyatt fur when pit trapping kyatts. Level 52 Hunter is required to wear the set.
Although good kyatt fur is used as a tertiary ingredient in the Spirit kyatt pouch, tatty fur cannot be used for the pouch.
