A Tangle gum staff is a magical staff that can only be found in Daemonheim and has no requirements to wield. It is currently the worst equippable staff in Daemonheim. Players with 8 Fletching can make the staff in a dungeon of complexity level 3+ by using a knife on Tangle gum branches. Both Tangle gum branches and a knife can be bought from the Smuggler. The branches can also be cut from a Tangle gum tree and are dropped by many monsters.
As a staff made of Tier 1 wood, it can be imbued on a runecrafting altar to become a Tier 1 Water staff by player, giving 5.5 Runecrafting xp and 5.5 Magic xp.
Non-members cannot craft staves but can imbue them into elemental staves and catalytic staves. The only way these can be obtained in free-to-play worlds is to buy them from the Smuggler.
