Sturdy boots are a quest item used in The Fremennik Trials quest. They are obtained by giving a fiscal statement to Yrsa in Rellekka. The boots can then be given to Olaf the Bard who will then compose a Fremennik ballad, which you will then have to give to the sailor . He will then give you an exotic flower which when given to Sigmund the Merchant, you'll get his vote.
