Steadfast boots are one of the three boots which were released with the Ritual of the Mahjarrat quest, with the other two being the Ragefire and Glaiven boots. They are dropped by Glacors after completion of the quest. The quest is not required to wear these boots, but players must have 75 Defence and Attack in order to do so.
Steadfast boots are currently the second most defensive boots in the game, behind Torva boots. However, Torva boots provide a negative magic defense, whereas Steadfast boots have no bonus at all. They also have slightly higher attack bonuses than Torva boots, and the same strength bonus.

Trivia
- After receiving a pair as a drop, the player's Adventurer's Log will read "After killing a Glacor, it dropped a pair of steadfast boots."
- These and Torva Boots are the only boots that give a positive melee attack bonus outside of Daemonheim.
- These are currently the most expensive boots in the game, as well as one of the most expensive items that is not a discontinued rare, a piece of third age armour, or an exclusive drop from Nex or the Corporeal Beast.
