For the normal Spicy stew that boosts one skill, see Spicy stew.

Spicy stew (Court Cases) is one of the rewards for completing the Evil Dave court case.

Players will be given 5 Spicy stews on successfully finishing the case. These are visually identical to a normal spicy stew although they do not contain any spices when initially given to the player. Like stew and spicy stew, they heal 110 life points upon eating.

However, the 5 stews from the court case are slightly different. Instead of only being able to add a maximum of 3 spices to a stew, the reward stews allow up 3 spices of each flavour to be added at the same time for a total of a maximum of 12 at once. This potentially allows boosts in multiple skill types at once that are normally impossible to achieve with a single regular spicy stew.

This does not change the range of the maximum boost possible, which remains a random -6 to +6 per skill, but does allow players to potentially gain simultaneous multiple skill boosts when they do not meet requirements for quests or effigies. It should also be noted that players can achieve the same effect by having multiple types of spice in inventory and making and consuming a second (or third or fourth) regular spicy stew of a different variety prior to the boost from the first stew wearing off.

Like spicy stew, the player may only have one stew at a time in either inventory or bank that has spices added to it, either regular stew with spices or the spicy stew from a court case with spices in it. If spice is not added to the spicy stew from the court case, players may continue to store it in inventory or bank without affecting their ability to create regular spicy stews.
