A smith's chestplate (rune) is an item made in Artisans Workshop. One Rune ingot iii and level 90 Smithing are required to make the chestplate. Smithing this gives smithing experience, and has no further use. It can be deposited in the nearby chute to remove it from the inventory quickly. Template:Burial Armour
