Sever is an ability found in the Ability book. It is a Basic Attack ability which requires level 45 Attack to use and works with all melee weapons. It has a cooldown time of 30 seconds. Sever your target's nerves, dealing up to 188% weapon damage and reducing any damage they deal by 10% for 10 seconds.

Trivia
This ability shares its name with the dragon scimitar's special attack. However, while the latter is a slash attack this is apparently a stab attack.
This ability previously deal up to 300% weapon damage.
