A Golden scarab is found in the Pyramid Plunder minigame in the rooms requiring a thieving level of 61 or higher. It can be sold to Simon Templeton for 1,000 coins. Sometime this can't be seen on the platform that the Golden chest sits on in the middle of the room. Right-click options are still available and the red item dot on the mini-map still appears.
