Blessed dragonhide armour is a member's only set of Ranger armour. To wear this group of armour the player needs at least 70 Ranged and 40 Defence. To obtain blessed dragonhide armour the player can either complete a Level 3 or Level 4 Treasure trail or trade with another player. This set of armour cannot be made using the Crafting skill. Blessed dragonhide is equal to black dragonhide armour. Although called Blessed, there is no prayer bonus attributed to any of the items.

There are six types of blessed dragonhide armour, each type corresponding to a different god: Saradomin, Guthix, Zamorak, Armadyl, Bandos, and Zaros and are all coloured in the particular god's colours (blue for Saradomin, green for Guthix, red for Zamorak, silver for Armadyl, brown for Bandos, and purple for Zaros). All the blessed dragonhide armours have been dyed their colours, contrary to the belief that the Guthix, Saradomin and Zamorak armours are made from green, blue and red dragonhide respectively. Blessed dragonhide sets have been discontinued for the fact that the sets themselves were worth considerably more than their component pieces. Armadyl was worth more than 7M at one point in time.

Blessed dragonhide armour may be placed in the costume room in a Player-owned house, so players may own it without it taking up bank space.

Blessed dragonhide armour has nearly the same bonuses as Black dragonhide armour. The only differences are:

  • Slight weight differences
  • The Blessed coif has a small +1 bonus to Crush, Ranged and Summoning defence, and also does not degrade
  • Black d'hide chaps Absorb 7%/3% Magic/Ranged vs Blessed d'hide's 4%/2%

Blessed dragonhide armour is popular for those ranging in the God Wars Dungeon, as the armour prevents monsters following that god from attacking the player. Some players prefer these sets over Armadyl armour because they do not have negative melee attack bonuses. It should be noted that Blessed Dragonhide has a bigger penalty in magic, and weaker defensive stats, though.
