The inactive Sacred clay shield is the degraded form of the Sacred clay shield and provides no stat bonuses, requiring 200 Stealing Creation points to be recharged into a Sacred clay shield with stats, and as with the magic, melee and ranged shields requires a Defence level of 65 to equip. As an alternative to recharging, one could purchase a new Sacred clay shield for the same cost. The inactive Sacred clay shield cannot transform until it is recharged.

The price of 200 Stealing Creation points roughly requires 2 hours in non-combat Stealing Creation games to obtain, or around 3.3 hours in ordinary Stealing Creation games.
