A Research package is an item that players must deliver to Aubury in the quest Rune Mysteries. It is obtained from Sedridor. If a player dies while having a Research package in his/her inventory, he/she can go back to Sedridor to teleport it back.
According to the Wise Old Man when asking you to check your bank for you, Sedridor's research into the mysteries of the runes is very interesting, but you don't need it.
