The Primal kiteshield (Tier 11) is an item that can only be obtained and used while Dungeoneering. It requires level 99 Defence to wear. As with all primal equipment, this shield can not be produced using the Smithing skill.
It may be obtained only as a drop from the Shadow-forger Ihlakhizan boss. It is currently the strongest shield in the game, but can only be used in Daemonheim. Its slash, crush and ranged defence bonuses far outstrips any surface shield. However, its stab bonus is far poorer, same as a fully charged Dragonfire shield.
