The Offhand chaotic longsword is an item similar to the Chaotic longsword except that it is equipped to the shield slot.
It is currently unclear what the cost of one-handed dungeoneering weapons will be both to purchase and to repair after the Evolution of Combat releases. Many players fear that the repair cost will remain the same, effectively doubling the amount of tokens and gp required to use this, and other one-handed chaotic weapons, in combat.
In addition, there is a claim that all one-handed chaotics should now cost half as much as they do currently, and all current owners should be refunded half of the tokens spent on the item. This is based on the fact that in the Evolution of Combat, all one handed weapons have half of the damage potential that they do currently.
This argument is somewhat countered by the fact that you can wear a one-handed chaotic with a shield, however, many players did not purchase these weapons with the intent of tanking, rather with the intent of the heavy damage that these weapons provide.
