The Novite rapier is the first class (tier 1), and weakest class, of rapier. It can be made from 2 Novite bars, requiring level 3 Smithing and giving 23 xp. As with all Novite items, it is not recommended to bind this item unless it is the only one you can use. Novite rapier sometimes appears on the starting table and it's dropped by forgotten warriors visibly wielding it.
It has 1 higher in stab and slash bonus than an iron sword, with the same strength bonus.
