The Novite platelegs is an item that can only be obtained and used while Dungeoneering. Released on the 12 of April 2010. It may be picked up from the table at the beginning of a dungeon, obtained as a monster drop, or produced using the Smithing skill.

It can be produced by using 3 Novite bars with a hammer on an anvil, requiring level 7 Smithing and granting 40.5 smithing experience.

Unlike most platelegs in RuneScape (which give identical bonuses to the corresponding skirts), this item's slash and stab defence bonuses are greater than those of a Novite plateskirt, while its crush defence bonus is lower. They each have the same requirements to produce and give the same amount of experience when made.
