| Nechryael, found in the Morytania Slayer tower, always drop infernal ashes, worth 1,641 coins. Nechryael need 80 Slayer to harm, but are reasonably weak for their level, and approximately 100 can be killed per hour (counting banking times, assuming a ring of slaying is used for teleporting to the Slayer tower, in addition to the agility chain shortcuts). Banking can be done via a ring of dueling at Castle Wars or using the tokkul-zo.
In addition to the profit earned from the infernal ashes, Nechryael also drop rune full helms and various herb seeds. It is recommended to take a few pieces of food and a bunyip to counter the damage the nechryael deal. Melee is recommended over range, as melee armour is better suited to withstand the pure melee attacks of the nechryael and the death spawn which they summon. Nechryael are found on the 2nd floor[help] of the Slayer tower. Note that if using both spiked chains to access the top floor, you will need a slayer helm or nosepeg. Otherwise, take the stairs to the first floor and then the spiked chain to the second floor. Nechryael hit very low and have reasonably low defence for their combat, though they also have high number of life points. For a player with a combat level around 120 with good equipment (such as Bandos), an Abyssal whip or better, a bunyip and a few pieces of food should be sufficient to last a full inventory of drops. Potions, preferably decanted into two-dose to ensure they are entirely used up thus maximizing inventory space, can also speed up kills. | |
