Megaleather armour
Megaleather armour is the tier 9 ranged armour used with the Dungeoneering skill. The set consists of coif, body, chaps, vambraces, and boots. Pieces are often dropped by level 84 forgotten rangers. A player must have level 80 Ranged and Defence to wear a megaleather item. Only members may obtain and use these items.
A total of 12 megamastyx hides and level 89 Crafting is required to make the entire set. The hides can be obtained from hunting or killing Megamastyx, or bought from the Smuggler, although this is nearly impossible due to their very high price. More megamastyx hide is obtained if a player uses a hunter trap to catch the Megamastyx, requiring level 80 Hunter, instead of just killing it.
Despite having similar level requirements to Pernix armour, without the vambraces and boots it only has a +53 range bonus, 24 less than the Pernix armour set (Pernix cowl, body, and chaps).
