Magic axes are a type of monster in the form of a floating axe. They are combat level 42 and due to their aggressiveness and high life points, are good training for players with a combat level of 60 or higher. They have a max hit of 70, but usually hit for less than 50. Regardless, magic axes can hit quite often, so food is recommended or full Guthans would be helpful. They are located in Taverley Dungeon as well as the members only part of Wilderness, at level 54 (lockpick required).
