Minecart ticket was discontinued from RuneScape after an update. |
A Minecart ticket is a discontinued item that allowed passage between Keldagrim and the Dwarven Mine. Players could buy one from the Cart Conductor in the Dwarven Mine for 150 coins. It was commonly used as a quick way to get to the blast furnace. You could also buy one underneath White Wolf Mountain after completing Fishing Contest.
With the addition of Forgiveness of a Chaos Dwarf on 9 September 2009, the carts were made free to use, causing the tickets to become discontinued, and on 7 October 2009, they were removed from the game all together, as said in the patch notes for that day on the forums.
Some players kept this item because it was discontinuted, but lost it in the update.
