The Katagon platebody is a Tier 8 platebody that can be found within Daemonheim. It can obtained as a drop from a monster, or smithed using 5 Katagon bars with 79 Smithing. It also appears in the starting room table sometimes.
A Katagon platebody has higher stab, slash and ranged defence bonuses than any surface armour. However, its crush defence bonus is noticeably poor, 3 less than a dragon platebody.
It requires a Defence level of 70 to wear.
Although it appears to have a light blue piece in the centre, this does not show up on the inventory icon.
