Johanhus Ulsbrecht is the leader of the Humans Against Monsters (H.A.M.) cult. He can be found inside the H.A.M. Dungeon outside the jail cell. He plays a somewhat small role in the One Small Favour quest, and is a major player (players do not need to speak to him directly) in the Dorgeshuun quest series. When the H.A.M. cult are ordered by the laws of Duke Horacio to stop interfering directly with the affairs of humans and monsters, some more extreme members of the movement split into a more militant faction led by Sigmund.
Johanhus remains the leader of the passive faction, petitioning Duke Horacio of Lumbridge to turn against the Dorgeshuun but no longer taking any direct action for fear of punishment. He also seems less encouraged of the idea to wipe out all of the goblins.
After The Chosen Commander, he tells the player that he is saddened that Sigmund was killed and his movement defeated, but that "it just goes to show the dangers of direct involvement. All Sigmund's actions did was get some good humans killed." Now, he says, the H.A.M. Cult are solely concentrating more on lobbying the Dorgeshuun government.
