Hats and scarves were given out as part of the 2005 Chistmas holiday event. They come in four different varieties. If a player destroys or loses their hats and scarves, they can get replacements from Diango in Draynor Village. The blue hat was enjoyed by some players because the hat looked similar to a blue partyhat. Many newer players ask to buy these, however, all hats and scarves, like all other Holiday items (following 22 December 2003), are non-tradeable discontinued items and cannot be obtained anymore.
