A Hammer is used for smithing dungeon melee armours and weapons and is vital in some kinds of puzzle rooms, with addition of the smithing skill door. Other than only being available in Daemonheim, it is the same as a normal hammer. If sold back to the smuggler it is worth 3 coins. It is not advised to sell it, but rather drop when necessary. Players may also obtain hammers from fallen monsters occasionally as well.
In ten or three statues puzzles and magical construction, the hammer is used with chisel to carve magical stones into products. It is also needed to smith battleaxes for Fremennik Scout. The smithing skill door requires a hammer to be used to reforge the key in order to unlock the door.
