The Gorgonite longsword is a Tier 9 longsword found in Daemonheim, which is used in the Dungeoneering skill. The gorgonite longsword can only be wielded by members who have a minimum Attack level of 80. Players can obtain the gorgonite longsword with a Smithing level of 84 using 2 Gorgonite bars, yielding 168 smithing experience. The Gorgonite longsword is also a possible drop from Forgotten Warriors using the weapon. This weapon can be of use in Dungeoneering because of the high strength bonus.
It looks similar to the chaotic longsword, but is far less accurate, having 36 and 23 less stab and slash attack bonus respectively. However, its strength bonus is quite high, only 6 less than the chaotic longsword.

Trivia
- There was a graphical bug with the Gorgonite longsword on females, where it looks like a Marmaros longsword when bound then equipped, but this has now been fixed.
- It looks similar to the Chaotic Longsword .
