The gorajian mushroom is found in the Polypore Dungeon. It heals 10% of the players maximum lifepoints, up to 99 lifepoints, (149 with a full Nex armour set and bonfire at 90+ Firemaking). According to the Ramokee Skinweaver at the bottom of the dungeon, it provides a slight healing effect after use in PvP combat, with a possible life point boost provided that not much damage is taken.
For a short time after eating it (about 10 seconds), damage taken in PvP is reduced by up to 49 points, (74 with Nex armour and bonfire at 90+ Firemaking), depending on the player's Constitution. If the damage is reduced below zero, the hit actually heals the player, especially useful for countering Dragon claws specials. Because their damage absorbing ability is further increased as one's base lifepoints increases, players using the mushrooms may find the use of a bonfire helpful. The mushrooms may also prove effective against opponents using weapons with rapid attack speeds, such as rune knives or a shortbow.
Gorajian mushrooms are affected by Expensive spices. With it equipped or in inventory, 10 life points are added to the mushroom's normal healing.
