The Fractured crystal is a quest item used in the Mourning's Ends Part II quest. They are obtained by solving part of the light puzzle in the Temple of Light and are needed in order to progress further through the puzzle. The fractured crystals act like prisms and allow a beam of light to be split into two separate beams. Each crystal splits the light in different directions and must be used in a specific combination in order to be able to solve the puzzle.
