The Fractite battleaxe is a weapon used in the Dungeoneering skill. It is the third best battleaxe available to free players; the first being the corrupt dragon battleaxe, and the second being rune battleaxe. However, just considering its attack stats, it is actually the second best. In addition, like all Dungeoneering battleaxes, it is slightly faster than regular battleaxes, with the same attack speed as a longsword. With high slash and crush stats, it is second only to a spear for attack type flexibility, but can be worn with a shield. It gives 3660gp when you high alch it. Besides being the 3rd best battleaxe for F2P, it currrently is the best battleaxe for free players in Daemonheim.
To make a Fractite battleaxe a player need 45 smithing and 2 fractite bars, giving 97 experience.
It is a Tier 5 weapon and requires an attack level of 40.
