The Farseer helm is a members-only piece of Fremennik armour. It is also known as the Magic helmet and is considered to be one of the best magic helmets, due to its non degradability, defence bonus, and substantial magic attack bonus. To wear a farseer helm, the player needs to have completed The Fremennik Trials and have at least 45 Defence. To obtain, you can buy one from Skulgrimen in Rellekka, trade with another player, or receive one as a Dagannoth drop on Waterbirth Island or in the Chaos Tunnels. It can also be obtained by gambling 30 honour points in Barbarian Assault.
The helm was once quite popular in the older days of player killing due to the 'hybriding' craze. It was quickly outstripped in performance by the Helm of neitiznot, and is now rarely seen equipped.
Its magic attack bonus is the same as the Infinity hat's, but it has higher defensive bonuses and is normally cheaper than the hat.
With the second Summoning update, a player can have Pikkupstix enchant the helm at which point it becomes a Farseer helm (e) and can hold up to 70 Summoning scrolls and requires level 35 Summoning to enchant. When charged it takes on a lighter colour and becomes a Farseer helm (charged).
Its stats are very similar to Ahrim's hood (in terms of offensive and defensive stats), and it does not degrade, unlike the hood.

Trivia
- In the movie Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Tim the Enchanter is seen wearing a similar helmet.
- In the Fist of Guthix activity, there is a farseer helm resting on some crates near the druids. This can be seen on both F2P and P2P worlds.
- It is strange that a Fremennik shop would stock such an item, due to their belief that magic is a skill that should be reserved for the gods. Possibly, "seeing" is a skill that requires mystically powered equipment, but is not treated as magic by their people.
- The horns on the inventory icon come from the bottom, but when the player is wearing it, they come from the top.
