The Early bird lamp was a lamp received for reaching wave 30 of the Fight Kiln minigame within two weeks of its release, which ended on 29 February 2012. When the minigame was released, there was a bug where you could only get the lamp from dying after wave 30, and finishing it would not count. You could only get the early bird lamp once no matter how many times you died after wave 30. The lamp offers 70,000 experience in any skill which is at least level 70.
There was a bug that allowed people to get the lamp multiple times, allowing some people to rack up massive XP before the first system update after its release.
This is one of the first Early Bird Bonus items, together with the early bird tome.
