The Dwarven Realm is the region controlled by the dwarven race.
History
The dwarves, since they were forced to live underground during the cataclysmic God Wars, have created a massive underground network of mines, cities, camps, and tunnel systems. All of these areas are considered to be part of the Dwarven Realm. During the Fourth and early Fifth Ages, most dwarves were hostile towards those races on the surface, and denied them access to virtually any land under their control.
The progression of the Fifth Age has gradually seen an increase in openness between the Dwarven Realm and other nations. The Fremennik Runecrafting Crusades of 42 to 62 caused some halt in diplomacy, particularly following the slaughter of the Imcando Dwarves and the Battle of Camdozaal. However, relations began to restore following the Crusades. The War of 164 particularly helped to strengthen ties between Asgarnia and the Dwarven Realm, eventually culminating in the establishment of the Mining Guild. In 169, the Dorgesh-Kaan - Keldagrim Train System was established, allowing for new trade between the Dorgeshuun and the dwarves. Today the Dwarven Realm and its neighbors are, for the most part, very open with each other, although some groups such as H.A.M and The Red Axe oppose this. After the quest King of the Dwarves, Veldaban becomes King, marking the 2nd Age of Kings.
At the moment, few areas of the Dwarven Realm are open to humans, although more have been added throughout the course of the game.
